The Operations Director will own and manage daily operations as per established goals when enabling profitable growth. Build and mentor a diverse team to foster and support the culture and objectives to surpass customer expectations.

Responsibilities
In this role, the Operations Director will build and enable the production operational strategy as defined by the COO. Develop processes that directly addressand solve TUCOL concerns/issues, develop and improve Lean based processes to deliver organization goals and objectives.
The right candidate will ensure a lean culture is embedded in day-to-day operations with measurable quality benefits. Quantify, monitor, revise quality metrics to align with organization goals and objectives. Understand and surpass customer quality requirements by program, challenge current processes and work methods towards operational excellence.
The Operations Director will provide leadership through effective communication, coaching, training,and development. The candidate will develop a strong talent bench that enables growth and career development. Define and deliver talent acquisition and retention goals in collaboration with a matrix organization and promote a people driven culture that surpasses the company’s engagement goals and values.
This position will establish an annual budget, deliver budget commitments through regular forecasting, identifying, and addressing areas of concern all while promoting a healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly standard by defining and delivering safety goals across the different operations and defining and delivering health and environmental requirements.

Qualifications
- 4-year College Degree
- 10 + years’ experience
- Strong background in safety, health, and environment
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, coaching and development to build strong teams
- Goal oriented, results driven
- Strong Analytical skills with troubleshooting experience
- Attentive to quality and continuous improvement processes
- Ability to forecast and budget to manage costs
