Staff Instruments Engineer, Medical Device

Our exciting Medtech partner is building the future of medical robotics with their next-generation robotic platform that targets early diagnosis and treatment of patients across multiple indications. They are looking for talented professionals with the vision and the desire to make an impact in the industry with disruptive and exciting technology. We are partnering on several exciting new positions including a Staff Instruments Engineer that will participate in and provide influence during the research phase of the product while focusing on generating and assessing solutions for new clinical indications.
The Right Talent:
BS in Engineering, Technology, Lifesciences, Biomedical or relevant degree
5+ years of Medical Device Experience developing catheters, endoscopes, or surgical instruments
5+ years of experience with 3D CAD or SolidWorks
Experience developing single-use instruments
Experience with designing for machining including sheet metal, injection molding, polymer extrusions, EDM, laser cutting, rapid prototyping, and/or cable assemblies
Demonstrated ability to general original concepts relevant to IP and patents
Must be a strong problem-solver and work well in an adapting, growth environment
