Our client is a world leader in medical technology; offering innovative solutions in orthopedic extremity surgery, neurosurgery, and reconstructive and general surgery for over 35 years. They are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer- Design Quality & Reliability to join their team. This position will support NPI/NPD working cross-functionally with NPD, manufacturing, and RA.  This opportunity can be located in MA, NJ with 2 days onsite a week. SSI has helped 52 people join this client in the past 4 years.

The Right Talent:

BS or MS in Engineering or relevant degree/experience

 5+ years of medical device quality experience preferred

Great opportunity for someone with the right experience to get into the medical device industry

Relevant experience in more than one area: design quality, risk management files, design controls, reliability, dFMEA, pFMEA, TMV, etc.

Experience with ISO 14971 and IEC 62366 & 62304 preferred

Experience NPD lifecycle from feasibility to V&V, design transfer,r and release

Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) experience a plus

This position can be remote 2-3 days a week
